What I can help you protect

I hold a life insurance license and a property and casualty license in Tennessee. In practice that means these five things — and if you are not sure which one you need, that is the most normal thing in the world. Ask me anyway.

Life insurance

The one that takes care of the people you love if you are not there. Term and permanent coverage, including final expense.

  • Term coverage for the years your family needs it most
  • Permanent coverage that lasts a lifetime
  • Final expense, so no one has to pass a hat

Auto insurance

Cars, trucks, and the teenagers you are brave enough to hand the keys to. Tennessee requires it — I make it make sense.

  • Cars, trucks and SUVs for the whole household
  • Teen and new drivers added without the sticker shock
  • Bundled with your home or renters to save where it counts

Home insurance

Your house is probably the biggest thing you own. Homeowners coverage that actually fits the house and the life in it.

  • Homeowners coverage for the structure and your belongings
  • Newer purchases, older homes and rural properties
  • Straight answers on what is covered and what is not

Renters insurance

Renting does not mean starting over if something happens. Usually a small monthly amount, and it covers a lot more than people expect.

  • Your furniture, clothes, electronics and the rest
  • Somewhere to stay if the apartment is not livable
  • Often required by a lease — I can get you a certificate fast

Small business coverage

For the folks who work for themselves. Shops, trades, trucks and the people who depend on you getting the job done.

  • Small shops, offices and service businesses
  • Contractors, trades and vehicles used for work
  • Coverage sized to a small operation, not a corporation

Something else on your mind?

Maybe it is a question about the policy you already have, or a renewal that went up. Send it over and I will take a look.

How the shopping actually works

When you call a single company, you get that company’s answer. When you call me, you get a comparison. Here is what happens after you send the form:

  • I read what you sent and call you back at the time you asked for
  • I ask a handful of questions — nothing you need to prepare for
  • I run it across the companies I work with and compare the options
  • I walk you through what I found and what the differences mean
  • You decide. If the answer is "not yet," that is a fine answer

Why independent matters

An independent agent is not employed by one insurance company. I work with several, which means I can compare and recommend rather than push whatever I happen to have on the shelf.

It also means you are not starting over every time something changes. A new vehicle, a move, a new baby, a claim — you call the same person you called the first time.
